My dream job

When I started dating Tom Tom Handsome Tom (TTHT), he asked me what my dream job would be.  I told him a combination of baking and teaching philosophy.  Oh joy, is that finally what my life consists of?  You'd better believe it.

I'm teaching 4 classes at Harold Washington College and baking two nights a week at Jupiter Outpost Cafe (this is my third time going back to work there).  I'm challenged, frustrated, exhausted, and pretty damn happy.  Considering my last job, anything would be an improvement, but teaching is what I can see myself doing for a career.  What would be better than reading Locke in my spare time--seriously, I can't think of much other than maybe baking a pie.

How about my peaches and cream pie? Oh, yes, the Jup got a taste of that special recipe a few weeks ago.  This life rules.  Maybe toss in some Hannah Arendt and I'll be set.  What did you say? I can create my own syllabus and assign awesome and relevant political philosophers like Arendt and Georgio Agamben.  Whoa, I guess I'll just crack open a pumpkin beer and get ready for the next Ciarleglio wedding and revel in my new life.  Hello world, let's see how long this blog lasts.
